At first i thought this would be another all female cast with a mediocre plot of "people slowly die one at a time while exploring a new environment"....but wow did it completely destroy my expectations and instead it made me try to understand everything. It wasnt just the mystery of "the shimmer" but mystery in the characters that got me stuck on the screen. This movie is perfect sci-fi and you shouldnt be surprised since the director killed it with his other movie "Ex Machina" that had the same ominous feel. 5/5 if you like mystery/sci-fi
