One-star because they won’t allow me to do less. Gorgeous photography, love Helen Murren, but we only got through by muting some of it. What we didn’t mute was surprisingly vulgar. A family show? Only if you mute it, and fast-forward on some scenes. C’mon ABC, do what you do best: cancel the show. This time I support you.

Because I don’t know how to do a half star. Or a quarter star. When will directors understand that night scenes that are completely dark aren’t worth having in the film? Slow, predictive. There are Oscar nominations? Such a disappointment.
