Company doesn't care, players are toxic and also don't care. Great concept, bad (seemingly getting worse) execution.

Gotta keep it real, this was the worst story I’ve ever seen with millions of dollars behind it. Gameplay is great, graphics are good, but don’t buy the game for plot. If you played the first game, leave it at that and don’t let this game destroy your memory of the masterpiece the first game was. You’re better off watching someone play through it on YouTube than spending your own money for an unfulfilling story that lasts much too long.
