This powerful movie is one of the reasons I continue to hold onto my subscription to services like NETFLIX. Just when I think that I am spending too much time looking at the same old recycled menus, along comes the series “ Away“ and the outstanding “ The Trial of the Chicago 7” to renew my faith in the quality of streaming services.

Kenneth Branagh and Judi Dench bring their anticipated excellent acting to the story which, admittedly, kept me absorbed until the end of the movie. However, it was very slow and many scenes could have been trimmed. But here I am looking up information on Shakespeare’s final months to see if..all WAS true as shown. I suppose any source of entertainment that makes me want to learn more about it’s subject has been worth my time.

Great performances by the leads. Predictable but heartwarming and engrossing. Saw it twice and the lessons about love and forgiveness were well scripted.
