This was far better than I thought it would be. The clips on Netflix made it look trashy. It wasn't. It was honest and sober. The interviews with Denise Richards were heartbreaking and his other ex wife Brooke Mueller was very candid. It is a very good example of how drug abuse ruins lives around the person and how hard drugs completely rewrite a person's behaviour and character.

Oh I wanted to like this. I love David Mitchell and Robert Webb. But it isn't funny. I've watched two episodes and gave up. There was only one funny skit at the start of episode 1. The rest is terrible.

This show was initially very good, but dragged out unnecessarily and became extremely dark and maudlin. It could've easily be chopped to 5 episodes and been a lot better. I haven't bothered with series 2, no idea how this could be dragged on from series 1. The main baddie became a cartoon villain, it was unrealistic that noone stood up to him, and as if anyone would let sleazy insurance agents into their homes, acting like police!

I did laugh once or twice but these are really horrid people and the story line is messed up. I didn't watch past episode 1

I really enjoyed this show. Amanda Peet etc was great and Jon Hamm is a fantastic actor. He can jump from comedy to serious roles and keep you mesmirised. The plot takes an interesting turn through the series. My husband couldn't stand the millionaires and their ridiculous flamboyance but that's the point of the show. Most of these characters are spoilt eggs but you still want to know what happens with them all. It is very well written and I loved the gen X soundtrack.

Fabulous show. I highly recommend it.

A great documentary which has now led me to the Stooges. Iggy Pop and the Stooges have influenced almost every rock band, I realised this after watching the documentary. Its astonishing that the band were only together a few years, and so long ago too.

I've really enjoyed the first episode! Hope it stands up for the rest of the series. I laughed out loud.

WTF was that. The first 3 episodes were great and led to a supernatural sirens island. Then episode 4 was slow and depressing and the final episode made no sense at all. What happened to all the plots about the women being sirens or the island giving women supernatural powers? I only finished it as my husband put it back on, it fast went from mesmerising to nonsense after episode 3.

You can sum up this movie by its ending; where the charlatan smirks and crows about all the previous crime he has gotten away with. This includes running scams at the retail chain he worked at (illegally, having borrowed his older brother's license), drug making and counterfeit money. The genital eating and nonsense pseudo paganism is one thing; deliberately exploiting sponsors and companies as well as misinforming the general public with dangerous extreme diet advice is another. The "Liver King" is now a millionaire living on a huge farm in Texas, having extorted millions of people. It's a shame that scientists and dieticians weren't interviewed for this to advise not to follow any fad and certainly not to listen to a conman on social media.
