Anyone ever hear of the movie Tron? The story tells a brief story about two programmers that one of them in his spare time was working on games that he was inventing, the other programmer not nearly as prolific, stole all his ideas and brought them to the company as his own. Meanwhile, the mainframe of this company, which was primarily written by the true game programmer of the story had become self aware and used coders (users) to build its own intelligence. Once the programmers, the coders, the (users) were brought into the digital world, they found themselves fighting for their lives in the games that were design by the programmer himself. What does this have to do with THE MATRIX REVELOUTIONS? For years, I have heard how The Matrix and Terminator run in close parallel, which has merit, however, consider having a look at the original Tron and the premise. As far as the complaint I've been hearing regarding their "tongue and cheek" Warner Bros involvement... it's brilliant in my opinion, it's the machines way of diverting Neo from the truth... Here you go Neo, we'll make you a superstar coder and everyone loves you. This mirrors the sub plot of Tron, which is a good thing, similar but different. BTW... I never believed in the one either. One of the teachings of Zen is this. One plus one, is not two, for one plus one is love. Neo and Trinity, together will bring order to the system. Now that is a power couple, working as one.
