Jolis Jeux

This show caught my attention the moment Gael Garcia Bernal appeared. His character was so charming and eccentric, he's simply amazing and I couldn't stop watching. This is so much better than Sex and the City. The music, the passion behind the music, the musicians and their love of their music. There are several strong women characters in this series including Gloria and Cynthia. But I'm not sure about Hailey, it's like she takes one step forward and two steps back. After four seasons, she still had no sense of herself until the very last episode when Rodrigo gave her another chance to go for her dream. We need more seasons to finally see Hailey grow and to see where Rodrigo is headed next.

Started off good. The first few episodes had good pacing about self discovery and family. All that is fine, and I even liked the music. But I do wish they would tone down the social justice stuff, it's a little too much for this kind of show. I just want to see more of the lore and adventure of the weapons and retrieving them. The choreograph of the fight scenes could also use some help.
