Missed Opportunity! This movie had the beginnings of a good movie where the poor triumph over the cold-hearted rich people. Instead, the poor suffered along with the rich in several injustices and this left the viewer/ customer feeling deflated. We didn't know who to root for. My group of friends that saw this with me left feeling deflated and frustrated. The movie editors/ producers missed an opportunity to find patrons that root for the injustices.

A touching account of the effects of war on a small community on an island, this film has it all. Humor, tension, love, success, heartbreak, death, awakenings... and more. This is a wholesome, wonderful movie to watch with the entire family. It's a favorite in our house.

Amazing film. Old fashioned and full of suspense. So well done.
