Against most popularly opinionated reviews, I had to go see this movie for myself; having in mind, no matter how difficult it was for me, the reviews I had read, I tried to endure past all the flaws and surprisingly, I could only but notice the so much hard work. This is an honest opinionated review please. How it happened that someone saw only an hour of coca cola advert in the movie is shocking. Before we come out to down play movies or works of art, let us also be considerate about the efforts put into such work. And yes, before masticating and digesting reviews, you should see for yourself. I was almost adamant while seeing the movie, simply because the reviews I'd read had got a place in my head and mind, free of charge. I give it to the crew and cast. Job well done. The message is clear. If anyone thinks there were other ways to have passed the message of cross compatibility in marital Union amongst different ethnic groups and tribes, may be such one should handle the red and all post production activities to see how easy it is. Consider that the Idians are as hard on their culture as a typical Nigerian family. So whether it is between a Nigerian and a non-nigerian, it is what it is. Whether between a Yoruba and a Tiv, it is what it is. There is always a meeting point if everyone would let down their guards for a second and have that compromise. Sometimes we don't see the good values because we've been focused for too long on the bad. The moment you take you eyes off the differences, what you see are the similarities. Raj's cousin did well to open the eyes of Raj's myopic mum. My 1 cent.
