Definitely an eye opener! I wasn't aware as to how bad those times really were and the suffering. Some scenes were quite shocking and hard to watch at times which really affected me and left me still thinking about the series days after finishing it. Haunting! Thats how you know it is a good series when it leaves an impact on you after you have watched it. The rapid deterioration of people with aids was shocking and heart breaking. I have not watched a good series like this in a long, long time and this definitely delivered. I was engrossed from the beginning and couldn't wait to watch the next episode. Absolutely brilliant series and would recommend watching for sure!! Really really good!
