I absolutely love this show so much. The actors, Chad Murray, Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy, and James Lafferty played Lucus, Peyton, Brooke, Haley, and Nathan (respectively) with such integrity and they are such great and talented actors. The show portrays friendship, family, mistakes, forgiveness, aspirations PERFECTLY. I cried a lot throughout this show because I felt so connected with the characters. However as much as I loved the show, I gave 4 stars because there were some down sides: 1. Brooke and Haley were so close to Lucus and Peyton and understandably they left the show. I felt that they disrespected the relationship between all 4 throughout seasons 7-9 because Brooke mentioned before the wedding “people always leave” a shot at Peyton for not being there for her through the roughest time. Haley lost her mother and Lucus didn’t even call. Things like a phone call and a letter could have kept them connected. They all been through a lot together and deserved a better ending. 2. Seasons 7-9 were good in terms of the new characters, but it wasn’t the same without Lucus and Peyton. Lucus was the main character, the show started with Lucus and Peyton and it should have ended with them. Since they had Lucus for 1 episode, it should have been for the finale. Lucus and Peyton were always going on about how Tree Hill is home, but they left. Other wise, I felt disconnected. This story/show was meant to tell the story of the 5 people of Tree Hill and their friends like Mouth and Skills. I love the show but it could have ended better. However, I did like how Jamie Scott beat his dads score. That part of the ending was so adorable.
