Excellent film. Maitre Verges defended some of the most notorious criminals of the past century. Regardless of how guilty, how evil many of them were, each deserved a defence in the courts, and Jacques Verges was a brilliant lawyer. I met him back in the 1980s, and bar none, he is the most fascinating person I have ever met.

The music to this film is absolutely beautiful. It is very atmospheric, each piece is imbued with a dream-like quality. Composer Jocelyn Pook is brittiant.

I hated this show. Those aging hippie parents, that obnoxious know-it-all son, Mallory was sometimes alright- like when she spoke up at Aunt Trudy:s funeral. The only character I liked was that blonde girl. The only reason I watched this show was because I was too lazy to turn the tv off. Oh, regretsI Also, that awful, insipid theme song.
