We loved this film from its exquisite filming and scenery of Tuscany to the dry humor (Canadian style?) and delightful portrayal of colorful characters from its bilingual actors. The surrealistic touch added a delightful interest. What happens to the main character at the beginning of the story is not uncommon and unfortunate, but how fortunate for him that he was able to take hold of another opportunity life threw at him, and succeed through humor, love and loyalty.
