It's a story of how a bored housewife embraces the unexpected job of an RJ and the challenges that comes with it, while her personal life goes for a toss. Sulu aka Sulochana doesn't preach, she doesn't keep telling you how things are to be done. She only knows one way to get a job done - and that's to do it!
This is a heart-warming tale of the life of (many!) Indian housewives and the thankless job that it entails.. Sulu will make you laugh, cry and empathize with her emotions in every frame she's part of. She is cutely complimented in her daily dose of housewife/ mommy duties by her husband (Manav Kaul) and son (Abishek Sharma). I enjoyed the scene where she talks to Mr. Sudha and reassures him, as the sexy voiced Sulu. It moved me to tears. Vidya Balan holds the film together in her strong and able shoulders. Tumhari Sulu is a drama that's every bit relatable and genuine, a story that's coming from the core of middle-class families and the values that ties and severs them.
