An anime of my childhood and another one of CLAMP's masterpieces. The soundtracks are beautiful and they conveys the lively and emotional mood of the anime. Though the anime skipped numerous of details regarding the fantasy lore of the original manga, I believe it is beautifully done, both the pace and animation. Still a little sad about how they didn't include the backstory of Ioryogi though. There are also some fun crossover of CLAMP's other works such as Tsukasa's Chronicle, Wish and Chobits too. The downside is that it's quite episodic with little romance, making the romance at the end rather unexpected. FYI, the age gap of 8 years (same as my parents') are not that bad and as problematic as Cardcaptor Sakura so please enjoy it.

I just rewatched this, the way Stampede gives spotlight to all the characters in here is way better than Red as there are a lot of abilities and even new techniques of the secondary characters (Kid's Busoshoku Haki, Hancock's Perfume Femur Magna) were showcased properly (makes it feel canon), not to mention the details such as post-credit spoilers, outfits, Ace appearance, breaking 4th war pandaman in newspaper for 20th anniversary, etc It shows that the staff actually put a lot of love and effort in here and knows exactly what it makes One Piece so interesting with little hints for us fans to follow. Stampede is very well-done imo and I LOVE IT. Your should check out Gold and Z as well.

It is engaging enough to spend time watching it, though of course it shouldn't be taken too seriously for the fact that its story based on the astronomer Galeo Galilei as it is fictional. I like the interaction between the siblings and the sky pirates. It also gives an adventure when the sisters are on the runaway from the bad guys while discovering the secret of their ancestor's ancient treasure. The plot and storytelling deserve better than a 6 I believe. It involves action and adequate amount of romance that's not too exaggerated. It's a shame that it ended with just 11 episodes when I think the anime can further elaborate on more adventure and romance of the oldest sibling. There are some simple yet effective twists regarding the lover of Galeo Galilei and the climax of the court episode. There's also provided flashback of unfortune for the antagonist and charming art. I also believe it is suitable for a bigger range of audience especially girls and young boys who haven't fully developed their preferences yet. Also it also semi isekai if you consider the power of the fish hourglass, not too bold buff nor nonsense written. Therefore, I highly recommend you to at least try it out, I ver am heartbroken by how underrated it is.

The whole story plot is well interacted n linked but the flashbacks of the main couple is really overused (6 times :/). I tried reading a few novel chapters and the order of events are very different. The series successfully organised the event in a understandable manner. However, to me it is like a tragedy when most of the characters didn't have an inch of happy period and always end up separated and this is really sad. The characters' designs are loveable n I'm surprised that Dan Hennah (Lords of the Rings) also partake in the film production. This makes you feel that the character belongs to that world so when u finished the series, you feel empty and want more adventues. It is a good series to watch if you're bored of traditional world settings. Though some effects like wind and floating capes are quite... obvious as you can see the strings pulling, but it didn't affect the quality of the series. The story is simple to understand and definitely enjoyable (as I finished it in 3 days). Also the actors are hot xD, I really like Ma Tian Yu's character designs (all 3 of them) and the brothers chemistry are yum yum mlem mlem. It also well invested (budget of around 45 million USD) and the filters aren't too bad like The Untamed and Ashes of Love. The actor for the mc also has a lot of experiences from his 40+ TV shows and the other actors' acting aren't as bad as 2020 Mulan ;) (no offence).. I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE SERIES, especially Shi's character theme song, the opening and the flute song n the Yan Da themed song. I believe that there's still something missing in the overall series but I will stay grateful because this is a very unique drama that created a whole different world. IT IS RECOMMENDED NOT TO WATCH SEASON 2 BECAUSE IT JUST REPEAT ITS TRAGEDY IN A WORSE WAY.
