Phoenix’s performance was beautiful, enthralling and relatable. Laughing in the face of trauma and hardships that life threw at him..
Best storytelling of the Joker I’ve seen in my life time, including Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight and Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton’s Batman.
Not as scary as I was led to believe, but defied expectations and is worth watching for Joaquin Phoenix performance as one of the best and well known villains of the DC universe.
