So, unpopular opinion - This movie really is as average as average could be. Seemed like a good choice for a horror in the first 20 minutes. But oh boy, after that, it straight up disappoints you.
Like I read in one of the reviews, the male lead and the female lead smooches 95% of their screen time. That's the beginning of the cringe.
Consider this movie a mix of all the popular horror flicks that you've watched. A handful of jump scares, followed by a ridiculously worn-out thread of a ghost story.
Excorcism, MPD, total eclipse, inverting cross, flying doctors, scarring on faces, rotating hands, long awaited predictable ending- It's a complete package of horror. All except two things - Originality and a good scare. (No, jump scares are not good enough for me)
I have no idea, why folks are praising this as something comparable to Hollywood flicks. I mean come on !!! This could be the worst benchmark
To be fair, the ending was when the movie delivered a good scare - The possibility of a sequel.
