The movie has an exaggerated plotline/storyline yet is fun to watch because of some elements. The story unfolds in the right way a dark comedy movie should, but ends up in a hotchpotch of events, mixing and mingling too much between the characters. Just as you would expect the movie would somehow draw some resemblance from the game of Ludo, yes it does. The characters in the movie are portrayed in a similar way. Not all coins have the same story and that pretty much is in this movie. The geographical boundary of the fictitious place in the movie is unrelatable, not to forget the unreasonable expenditure quotes in the movie (90lakhs for a local saloon setup; Ayush(Aditya Roy Kapoor) a low-key personality in the movie stay in a lavish hotel, as if money is worthless).
Nevertheless, the movie has done great work in screenplay and editing. So if you like these aspects in a movie, probably it would be a treat to the eye. Storytelling is also good. I am not sure when was this movie shot but given the fact that we had so much drama regarding drugs and narcotics in mid 2020, the cigerette rolling scene could have been avoided.
Watch the movie for Abhishek Bachchan who has done the best piece of acting probably. Rajkumar Rao is fun. Pankaj Tripathi although brilliant in his role has nothing to be awe about. Sanya, AdityaRK and Rohit Sharaf has been decent.
So overall, not a great movie, but once a watch
