Love, love, love!!!! The plot is great, the actors are amazing and I just love the colors and depicted era. I hope we get a season 2.

Although I did not catch on until just about the ending...this movie is brilliant! Janelle Monae’ did a phenomenal job! Some musicians explore other forms of entertainment such as acting and suck at it but that woman can act her butt off. Great job!

True depiction of the foolishness that goes on within Church and the families of mega churches or churches in general, nowadays. The series is very entertaining, however if you’re seeking truth and/or a babe in Christ and wanting to learn God’s standard...His ways...His doctrine, I would not recommend you watch.

Several reviewers argued that the movie was horrible, however I beg to differ. It wasn’t that bad at all. Some people can be extremely critical and judgmental but I can assure you the majority don’t have it in them to pull off a self recorded video from their cell phone devices, let alone a movie. I will say the plot twist was a bit off though. *SPOILER ALERT* Husband and wife realize the side chick was trapped in the basement and they all come together for a very brief time to save each other? One reviewer was yapping about woman being violated🙄. Everybody was getting recorded, including the men so cut it with that sensitive, feminist garbage! The movie is worth a watch.

I’m mainly doing a review to express my thoughts on some of the Oscar worthy fools that submitted a review. It is JUST a movie! One person (Food Review) mentioned that he/she now have to go to therapy because of one scene in the movie where the snake ate the hamster. Really?!🙄 I suggest he/she get a grip! It’s not that deep! Overall, the movie was pretty good. It caught my attention starting at the very beginning. There were some scenes that disturbed me; being a mother and there were a few scenes that had me on the edge of my seat. A good movie trigger a variety of emotions as this one did but def not to the point where I need to see a therapist😏. Food review, don’t blame this movie. You were probably already a a basket case. Sure sound like it.

Throughout the movie I thought it was good until the end. Great actors, great plot, suspenseful with a dark/mystified undertone and great jump scares, however at the end I was left extremely confused as if I hadn’t been paying attention all along. Now I feel like I have to watch it again to understand the ending. I could be wrong but I feel like there will be a part 2. After reading a few other reviews, some tried to insult those of us that didn’t quite understand the ending....”we didn’t want to think too hard.” 🙄 Them same mofos that wrote an entire dissertation didn’t quite get it either, so cut it out!

Had I known then what I know now I would’ve waited until it was released to Netflix. Def not better than the first one.
