Let me start by saying I watched “After” the movie before reading the book. I LOVED the movie the first time I saw it. After reading the book though, the movie is kind of disappointing. The casting is spot on, but the lack of detail and depth makes it kinda suck :( Absolutely will watch the sequels, I’m a sucker for Hero. But the books are definitely superior!
