Not funny, pretty uneven, it feels half baked. How did they talk Joe Pesci into it?

The writing is terrible. Young actors are not great, and were given awful lines. Some parts of certain episodes are so cringey that are hard to watch. Overall, this show disrespect previous source material. I wanted to like it, because of the name, but it was just awful. It is a very rushed project, made without love.

Excellent movie. Of course it has an absurd premise: three college students discover the unconscious body of a white woman, in their living room, and decide not to call 911. However, there are plenty of other black comedies with absurd premises ("Weekend at Bernie's", the host of the party is dead and no one calls the cops?). No one complained about those movies being "illogical". I think the negative criticisms that "Emergency" is getting is just because it's not 100% a comedy, it crosses into other categories as it goes. The movie is a conversation starter (unless you are not comfortable having this conversation).

Mother/Android (2021) is some of the worst writing I have ever seen on any screen. The acting is 2 out of 10. The music / score is 2.5 out of 10. FX / makeup is 4 out of 10 (way below average). Don't waste your time
