Judge Marilyn Milian doesn’t review any evidence sent to her and makes decisions off of whatever she hears instead of matching what is said with the evidence (common sense). How do you rule on a case in under 5 minutes. Also prior to the case you have multiple people calling you almost everyday but once the case is done and you raise any concerns about the hearing, none of them want to talk to you. They keep redirecting you to their ‘legal department’ via email. When you email this so called ‘legal department’ they never respond. I tried asking for a way to communicate with the judge directly and all they said was I’d have to ‘go through legal’. It’s very frustrating especially in my case in which the lady I sued has been stealing deposit fees from college students and other travel nurses like me and the judge goes ahead and gives her more money. I have been in agony since the day of the case as my wounds were reopened. I went to People’s Court in search of justice only to get a slap in the face. I emailed ‘legal’ to ask for another hearing with the evidence taken into account and haven’t heard anything back. I’m not even sure what to do at this point as I just feel like People’s Court just used me to add another episode of their show without taking into account this is a very real situation for me.
