Dont go in expecting a faithful recreation of the original, or some deep and nuanced experience. its a simple action comedy with very impactful combat and likeable characters. Viewers like Kris Ambler or James Matthew Davies fundamentally misunderstand the media. If you're walking in expecting groundbreaking cinema you've found the wrong genre, this is a lighthearted action flick not grounded in reality, as if that's a reasonable expectation from a ROADHOUSE reboot. This isnt citizen kane were talking about here, it's a campy beat em up meant for casual entertainment, and it executes that goal beautifully.

I cannot remember the last time i fell in love with an original I.P like this one. A combination of nostalgic plot, mature subject matter and extremely engaging characters makes this a show that will be talked a out for year to come.

While the game may perform poorly on 2013 consoles when the game is played on a capable system(i use an xbox one X and it performs very well) it feels like the most immersive and fleshed out RPG I've ever experienced, yes certain areas of the game were surprisingly lackluster but even with those flaws I consider it to be the greatest RPG I've ever played.

Fantastic whatch up until whatever that lawyer nonsense was. Quit watching after that.

What this game does well it does amazingly but what it does bad it does completely terribly. This game is extremely emersive buy also very good at not being enjoyable on account of some flat out anti fun game mechanics. It really is sad to see such a good game held back by such small flaws but things like tournaments, the fast travel, the worst saving system ever implemented into a game along with horse riding which is so unbearable if you arent on a road that it truly feels like it was designed in 2004. While these flaws may not seem large its impossible to have a single play session without aplenty of frustration towards on of the games many minor but unavoidable faults

It's strange how in year 3 we have less heroes than year 1. Theyve add so many but in doing so stripped the viability from the majority of the roster. Before year 3 the game was extremely balanced with only a handful of characters not viable for duels. But now nearly every assassin is a pointless choice because of heroes like black prior, hito, raider and jorm. They require very little effort to he effective making it pointless to play any of the other characters since it is a fact you will perform more poorly, they just dont have nearly as much tools. Until atleast half of the roster is useable this will be a 1 star game in my eyes
