I love everything about this show. The period in history. The story line. The acting. The costumes. The music. The British humor. I love British humor even more than I did before after having just come back from London. I have to laugh because I keep my cell phone near me so I can look up on Google all the British terms. Today they talked about getting a cup of bovril and I had no idea what that was. And one of the actors talked about getting cream-crackered, an expression I have never heard. The hour long show goes by so quickly.

Love it as much as I did when it came out in 1964. The acting, the songs, the plot, and the cinematography is still excellent after all these years.

What happened to all the Google reviews from when the movie came out? There were hundreds of them and they weren’t very good. Once again, this movie was a huge disappointment. I couldn’t wait for it to come out and then this was nothing like the original. The only good part was Dick Van Dyke was in the movie.

I throughly enjoyed this movie! The historical background, the actors, the music, the realistic portrayal of the time frame. Maybe because it reminded me of my youth, I felt teary eyed several times just longing for the good old days. A great movie for any baby boomer.

This movie came out 21 years ago, but it’s so relevant today when more than ever we need to feel love instead of divisiveness. It does have its sad moments, but so does real life. Very clever the way there are several stories going on simultaneously, but never confusing and easy to keep up with. Each story has its own unique way of being appealing. We watch it every year.

Seemed very long and was boring. I nodded off a few times. Music unmemorable. None of us could hum or even think of a single song from the movie. Visually the graphics were well done which was a positive. Even the kids we took to see it were unimpressed and couldn’t think of a single song from the movie.

Sad that I have to rate this show one star but the show has gone downhill steadily in the past couple of years. If you look at the overall ratings, you’ll see that a lot of people agree with me. Four or five years ago I might’ve rated it a five like a lot of people did but not now. He’s becoming more and more nasty and the humor that I once really enjoyed is gone now. On his show of November 23 he preached how Democrats need to get over it. Get over what? That a rapist (they want to call it sexual assault but we know what it was), insurrectionist, female private body part grabber misogynist, convicted criminal, twice impeached person was elected president because you believe the left committed the crime of being too woke? And now all the charges against him are being dismissed and we’re supposed to go on as if nothing happened and love the people that support him and voted for him? No thank you, Bill. Does the punishment of another four years of Trump fit the crime, Bill? If your intent was to bring people together, you failed.

OK, so I’m not good at giving long-winded reviews but this is the best review in my opinion. I find it so hard to stay awake and watch TV at night, but I was wide awake with every episode we’ve watched so far. That’s about the greatest compliment I can give a program! Sylvester Stallone looks amazing for his age and his acting is fantastic in this series. Great storyline, too.

I loved this movie. Always love anything with Paul Giamatti in it and this was no exception. All the actors were great and the characters believable. I felt a full range of emotions watching the movie. At times laughing, sometimes felt teary eyed, sometimes angry, and sometimes a connection with the past as I was a junior in high school in the 1970-1971 year as the time frame the movie depicted. It took me right back to my adolescence and the struggles I felt at the time. This movie is well worth seeing without the need for special affects, violence, and sex scenes which is amazing in this day and age. Great music, too.

Loved it, all of it! The acting, the actors, the costumes, and the fantastic soundtrack! Loved the twist at the end of the movie. Well worth watching. I’m ordering the soundtrack CD.
