Okay, this one was GOOD. Great characters, fun cinematography, interesting storyline with a lot of twists. I watch a lot of horror movies and this is gonna be a top fav for me! If you like this vibe, I recommend “Glorious”.

I’m a little shocked by all the positive reviews here. This movie was NOT good. Classic found footage style movie about friends going into the woods, but oh no, Bigfoot is out there! Not scary, the creature wasn’t convincing at all and the noises it made became tedious and annoying. I’m a sucker for found footage style films so I bumped it up a star, otherwise I can’t really recommend it.

I’m not the type of person to be able to guess the ending of a movie, but I figured this one out pretty fast. They don’t hint at it so much as hit you over the head with it. The characters are all extremely unlikable as well, there was nobody to root for. It was an interesting idea that wasn’t fully fleshed out. I’d recommend The Tall Man for a similar story, but don’t much better.

Please be aware that many of the reviews here are talking about a TV series called The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, not the movie. This review is for the movie. My kid and I watched this and had fun making fun of this ridiculous film. It’s very boring, anticlimactic, and the acting is subpar. It’s not scary, it’s not even very entertaining. And it’s definitely not about skinwalkers.

I found this incredibly thought provoking and well done. I’m bummed a lot of the low reviews are harping on religion and believers - I’m an atheist, but can suspend my disbelief enough to entertain a what if such as this. And did they ever actually confirm it was God who set this in motion? What is it’s the Devil? What if it’s something else entirely? It can be a little slow on parts, but overall I found it very entertaining and the acting was superb, you could feel how scared everyone was. Definitely recommend going in blind if you can!

I LOVED this movie. It was so unique, so well done, great twists and storyline. The effects were well done, as was the lighting. I didn’t expect anything going into this and now it’s become a top 10 favorite for me. Don’t look up anything about it before watching, going in blind was awesome!

This was entertaining enough, although I had a LOT of questions and the ending was kind of silly. Spoilers ahead. The beginning shows how crazy “busy” they are running their shop before they find out about the property. When they decide to visit the house, who is watching after all the animals? Why did they ALL go? Why would they STAY in the house, and why for more than one night?? Then you discover what actually happened to the Dad and sister, and why his Mom never mentioned the place. But it’s not supernatural! It’s a creature! Why wouldn’t she tell authorities that a huge animal killed them?? Then they could have looked into it and killed them off. I was so confused!

This movie had potential, but it fell short, especially in the second act. Once you learn the “twist”, it kind of just drags on - I loved the scene towards the end watching the events happen, that’s how we should have found out the twist. Best scene in the movie, honestly. The ghost ruined the atmosphere, though, it was far too “realistic” and shown too much. I did like seeing how the previous events tied into his death, but otherwise I couldn’t see myself recommending this.

Incredibly predictable and the creature was shown far too much for it to be scary. I also had a hard time believing the creature could be the way it was and also fly a spaceship!! It wasn’t smart enough to break off a smaller part of itself to go after her in the ducts, but could pilot a massive space vehicle? It was fun in some places, but I would recommend just watching the original again!
