I should have known better. The warning sign was there. Right at the start. "Sky Original". I've struggled through a fair few of them, but this was the first one that I abandoned some 40 minutes in.
I want to be entertained. Goodness knows I pay Sky enough every month to try and achieve that. But if a film hasn't somehow 'grabbed' me after 40 minutes then I feel that it never will. I can't say that nothing happened because it did, twice. But I found myself not really caring. I was not invested in any of the characters that I'd seen to that point. So I had no desire to see how things turned out for them. Having read the spoilers in a couple of the reviews I'm quite content to leave 'Sharp Corner' in the deleted section of my PVR.
