This show is amazing beyond words. Why are Swedish tv shows so much better than American tv shows? I mean the acting.....on point, I have never seen such good acting before, like come on....these actors are KIDS. The intimacy you see between Simon and Wille is so authentic, so passionate, their chemistry is so organic and natural. Their love for each-other feels so.... real. The plot line is exquisite . I found myself falling in love with each of the characters, the conflicts in which they go through are relatable, making it easy for you to truly empathize with them. It is amazing to watch each of the characters grow, find themselves and develop their own identities. I must add that the inclusivity of the show is 10/10. Not having exclusively caucasian characters and not just having a few colored actors on the side so that they can claim that they "embrace diversity" is very important, and makes Young Royals so so SO much better. Three of the main characters are POC. About 50% of the side characters are also POC. You see POC who do not play into the stereotypes that are given to them by society....take Felice and her family....they ARE the richest family in Sweden, and also are POC. Additionally having the main characters not be heteronormative is also a plus. Phenomenal show. 1000000% reccomend
