Love Once

This was so hard to finish. Not because it was a challenge but because it was just so so damn boring. Pledge, do menial tasks, besiege the fort, install lame arse king and rinse and repeat! On top of that game play felt very clunky, ability tree that made no sense at all. Extremely clunky menu to just swap a weapon, useless armour system, copy and paste side quests that are all the same. Lips not moving in cut scenes, clothes clipping in cut scenes. Cape that doesn't move and just looks like a solid piece of wood stuck to your back So you hide the cape in inventory menu only to discover Eivor's butt clipping through her pants the whole game!! The list goes on. Just another AAA disappointment.

Thankyou Sucker Punch! After the let downs of LOU2 and Cyberjunk this has been a pleasant surprise. The most beautiful graphics I've seen all year, some of the most satisfying combat play around and just an all round great game. I will no longer listen to the so called expert game critics and BS reviews they spin on whats "most anticipated" or "game of the year claims" This for me has been a hidden treasure until now. Game of the year IMHO.

10/10 graphics means nothing when you screw the story so badly. What a total waste. Ill just pretend that LOU1 finished where it did and that this game doesn't exist. Biggest gaming disappointment I've ever experienced in my life.
