The entire family is amazing. I always watch them when I need to decompress and fill my mind and spirit with light. Angel is so creative and gifted. She has the genius to make beauty out of some very ordinary things and watching her magic unfold is mesmerizing. The children are a delight and have inherited their parents and grandparents sense of humor, creativity and work ethic. Dick is a true renaissance man. Is there anything he can't do? Need an elevator? He is your man. Need a labyrinth of plumbing? He is your man. Need a banquet for 50? He is your man. The castle has evolved into the beauty of former times under the special tender loving care of this family. Incredible show which blesses me and restores my faith in the dignity and grace of a good family who have the power to change the world one castle at a time.

Savanna Guthrie did an interview w/ Congressman Jason Crowe today. It was well done. Hoda's response was an immediate " high five", grinning and complimenting Savanna for her deftness and skill. Five people are dead. The time for compliments and praise is off camera. The topic was a deadly serious issue and addressing that was in order. It wasn't about Savanna. Sometimes your staff have problems with a segue from very serious matter to segments of more minor issues. Hoda in particular is guilty of this and I am not talking about the morning boost which is great. She seems to need to be jovial and cheerful but get a sense of decorum. Discretion is a much needed trait that would help her to respond appropriately to serious topics with a serious demeanor.
