Wow. I actually used to watch this movie all the time when I was three. Now that it’s been a few years, and I understand all the hate. Upon it's release, it was VERY hyped up. Everyone was apparently talking about it, and it was a complete failure. What a shame, too. It was the last film Micheal Jackson saw before he died, and that’s BAD. If this movie killed The King of Pop, then you know it’s bad. Basically every woman is either an object, or totally wasted, INCLUDING the Arcee sisters. Speaking of the women, they’re overly sexualized. Matter a fact, this film is too sexual. It’s a kids film, and kids shouldn’t see a robot humping a woman's leg. (That’s just one of the many inappropriate jokes.) WHY?!?! Another problem I have is how they use the robots. Apparently they have 40-60 robots in the film, which is dumb. Use the money to develop the characters, not to make more. In this situation, QUALITY IS BETTER THAN QUANTITY. We barely know these characters. We only know Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and the racist twins. It’s sad Tom Kenny actually voiced one of them. The film focuses on the humans too much, too. Sam is basically the main character, with the whole story revolving around him. I hate Leo, and he’s annoying. It’s even more irritating that the film treats the Transformers as objects, rather than actual characters. I also hate the script, and their decisions. Just delay the film for 2010, duh.
There’s many more problems, but this film is bad. I used to think this was the worst one yet, but the 5th one was even worse.
Just a side note, but I’m currently making some stories that are my renditions of the films. What I would do if I made them. If you want to help/read it, just contact me. Have a great day, and watch Bumblebee, a better film.
