Not a feel good movie, not intended to leave you with resolve... a drama that exposes the shortcomings and darkness of various walks of life. The movie made me feel akward and uncomfortable and that was the point. Using an iconic villian such as Joker to perhaps a warn of what could come if we continue to ignore mental illness in our society... Painting a picture of vulnerability unhinging into a violent form of self protection.
