This is no longer Star Trek. It is garbage. Lazy, expensive garbage. The writing only makes sense when you watch week-to-week and then never question anything. It is maybe the most fragile show I have ever watched. If you pull on any narrative thread it all falls apart... It is built from a foundation of thoughtless plot holes. Patrick Stewart is amazing, and it was good to see some TNG characters again. But the writers of this show I know... I knowwww, have never fully watched TNG. It seems completely likely they have seen a highlight reel of the show and they probably watched the TNG movies and that is it. Pathetic. I honestly do not understand how this show has this high of a rating, super sus.
