I’m not trying to be a hater or anything, but I can’t help but to say something about this game to other’s. When I first played this through the saiyan saga, it was completely fun for me, nothing went wrong, and I honestly had fun playing the game. It really felt like I was one of the z-warriors fighting Nappa, having him be a bit of a difficulty spike. The graining for levels is unnecessary because you gain exp by just going through the story. Even the filler story missions (and yes, there’s filler in the actual story) give you a weirdly large amount of exp which kind of makes sense. It’s not like anyone would like to fight robots and saibimen just to earn a fraction of the exp you need to level up. Now for the game itself. I hate it. It started great, then get a little glitch during the namek saga, but was still playable, then I get to the cell saga and this is where everything goes downhill. I’m not sure if it’s my fault considering that I kept the dragon balls on me from the time Goku gets back from Yardrat all the way to when Dende brings them back, but it would be weird for one little cheat that everyone can do without hacking to messing up how the game works all together. Whenever I try to do some side quest, I literally can’t for no reason. I can’t progress in some of them because some people just plain ignore me and other’s just stare at me waiting for me to leave. I can’t even get future Trunks back on my party because it requires a mission and I can’t fight Mira because him and Towa just act like I’m not there. This is all in the post-game by the way, so it’s not a totally issue, but it is something that should be mentioned. Finally, the playable character’s. There’s only five of them. Four if you included Goten, but I won’t because it’s only filler that gets you literally nothing in return. Also as you’d expect, you lose Trunks after the cell saga, but you can get him back in the post-game (I still can’t). As for the main story, it’s only Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta. You can fight as Gotenks and Vegito, but only for one fight each and no over world stuff. It’s similar to the legacy of Goku series only you could play as Goten and Trunks in those, by hey, it’s not like they matter. I doubt that anyone will actually read this, but hopefully, someone will before they buy this game. I’m not saying “don’t buy it,” but please think about it first and have more fun than I did.
