Minecraft Dungeons was a fun experience, one that I really liked. Although I like the charm it has and the effort and commitment they put into this, there are some things I would like to have tweaked or changed with this game. One is that the 9 levels are a bit too short. Only averaging 30 mins on one mission instead of having to finish it in a couple of hours is not the best deal for a 20$ game, and if you have a maxed out build like I do, you can complete a mission in half that amount of time. Another thing is that this game needs more variety and depth. More puzzle solving in each of the levels, as well as each of them having more unique gimmicks such as Desert Temple having more complex traps and hazards or Cacti Canyon having a visual effect of an extremely bright, baked sun once you reach the desert portion of the level. I would also love more adventurous aspects to the game, such as expanding your own camp, and finding tons of new exciting secrets and
missions on the way. These missions could have special artifacts that are endemic to these levels and can help you battle the Arch-Illager. Levels could be more procedurally generated, so on higher difficulties you wont have the same objectives to complete. Creeper Woods would having a villager saving objective on Default, but could have another type of objective on Adventure, such as chopping down logs that you could recycle to cage in a ravager that could one-shot you if you didn't capture it in time. Honestly this game has so much potential, but aside from that this game was a blast with friends and it has some really unique mobs, bosses, and loot and I love the ability to freely customize your character and make your own build that suits your playstyle. I'm definitely looking forward to where this game's gonna go next.
