This show for me is a mix of breaking bad meets downton abbey with some of hbo's the wire. The main character keeps getting himself deeper and deeper into trouble much like walt from breaking bad and every time you think hes about to meet his end a crazy twist happens. The whole setting takes place obviously in the colonial era and the dialogue and drama is very similar to downton abbey. Some of my favorite scenes are just the witty dialogue betweem characters. The show has very likeable characters on both the british and american side which is similar to how the wire was written. Overall very entertaining and bingeable. A lot of historically accurate information presented although im sure there was plenty of creative liberty taken as well. A must watch!
