I am mind blown by the amazing reviews. This film is a poor attempt to pull on the heart strings of a mother sudden leaving her child. This does a dissatisfaction to a serious social problem with a weak script. I could go on however this appears a waterdown attempt of something in comparison to precious.

This film is dogs droppings! In comparison to the original movie this the lacked acting ability and tension that made the original such a brilliant movie. This remake make seemed rush and focus too much on bad jokes. There was no thought on creating depth to the characters, especially the grand High witch. All was needed was to follow the original story and give it a modern twist. Poor attempt to improve on a movie make 20 years ago.
