Disappointing. Whilst it promises it never delivers, after 4 episodes I saw it was going nowhere really. This guy's forever having a go at science .... He's obviously got a personal beef with being rejected. Frustratingly broken lines of thought. But worth a look if you can't find anything else to watch.

Interesting and demonstrates the megalomaniac side of Cheney (and Rumsfeld). Given these people led to disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan I find it hard not to hate the triumvate of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, assisted by lackeys Condoleza Rice and Powell. If you can forget how everything ends up it's okay entertainment. The redneck background of Cheney and Bush no doubt fuelled the unnecessary belligerence that cost so many lives with no winners. It seems the USA has not learned any lessons regarding meddling in others affairs, as long as you can stomach this enjoy the movie for what it is. A bio no doubt censored by Cheney that portrays him as a nicer character than he really is.

It has dated. Very predictable but it is 19 years old. I was disappointed given the glowing reviews I read. Good Sunday rainy afternoon fodder at best.

It's OK but has a few cliches, trying to fit too many soapy stories in. The action scenes are good. Dubbed in English is well done but I suspect does the original narrative little justice

Good but script got steadily weaker unfortunately resorting to misty eyed trope in final season. The plots disappeared, mawkishness sets in regarding the screwed up women of the family who really are bad news for anyone.

Don't expect much. I had high hopes but decided to watch paint dry instead. I can't believe this was rated high by critics. 92% rotten tomatoes. Maybe because it focuses on women. I have no idea. I was looking forward to a statement of some kind. Not boring shots of middle America as nauseam and zero meaningful dialogue.

Started well but season 2 at 13 episodes is too long. It's like blood out of a stone by episode 3 S2 there is nothing left but uninteresting love triangles. The story should have been wrapped up by now. Not even Aaron Paul can rescue it.
