Alexander Lane

Though the dialogue, costumes, setting, props and color grading are all great and immersive, from a narrative stand point this movie is all over. The arc of the story is disjointed, the ending feels tacked on because they weren’t sure what else to do, the dramatic events and antagonism seem arbitrary. The plot was going along, and then took three left turns and got stuck on a dead end street.
