Sheri Bruce

I see some loved this book and some hated it. I guess I " liked " it ...but wasn't enthralled with it. Gilbert is a talented writer so I think it is easy for her to spin a good tale. But there was something missing here that her other novels have had. It was partially the plot but I just didn't feel her heart was in it. I did like the characters and I New York is a great setting but the plot never really created intrigue or captured you. I still don't think it was bad. I liked it but wanted to love it.
