This show is on a downward spiral. First season had people hooked, it had meaning, it was actually about something. Second season went for far too long and felt like several scenarios shoved into one season. Now, Season 3 feels like a completely different show, doesn't even feel like we're watching Riverdale anymore. Writers need to drop the try-hard spooky nonsense and return Riverdale to its original, funky, suspenseful and old-school roots.
