I saw this in the theater around 1975 with my mother (about 8 years old) and was absolutely delighted - when I wasn't terrified - it has some very scary moments for a youngster. Yet I loved the entire thing and I was lucky enough to inherit dad's old console stereo (a Magnavox I believe with a tweed-type fabric on the front and big 10" speakers) and a built-in turntable and AM/FM stereo radio, and a beautiful 33rpm album full of pictures from the movie that I would listen to for hours on end (along with The Elephant's Child and The Cat Who Walks Alone - Rudyard Kipling tales and many others). Night on Bald Mountain was my favorite but I didn't listen to it often and only in the daytime because it was one of the scariest parts. I sure wish I still had that record.
