I went in knowing that nothing could hold a candle to The Lord of the Rings trilogy and would suggest anyone giving it a go to do the same. With that being said I was hoping it would at least be at The Hobbit trilogy's level but sadly it did fall just short for me, personally. The ethnicity in it, is misplaced and out of sorts. I do not mind them adding diversity, i just wish it would have been tastefully done and integrated in a way that followed the original. Could have been specifically races that werent showed previously as one way such as the elves or dwarves like humans or other creatures not featured in the original. Gimley's mother first of all should have a beard lol and secondly should be consistent with what he was. The ethnic elf I can handle better than some others who are bashing the show stating there's too much diversity.

I have been very disappointed in the reboot. I agree with previous comments about inconsistencies in the show and the lack of chemistry between the sisters. The new piper seems more like Prue to me in the sense that she is the least likable out of the three. There were fundamental guidelines in the original that don't exist in this version. Such as using magic for personal gain backfiring on the caster in some way or another as it is a trait that belongs to dark magic. But in this version those core ethics do not exist. In season 3, Maggie changes posters to interfere with her psych major "rival" without consequences and he wasn't even the one who sabotaged her... Blurred lines all around and this does register as heartless. It's shallow and the party tricks with throwing modern issues in doesn't take those missing pieces place, it makes them feel hollow like empty sentiments just for the sake of being trendy.

Please give me a full episode of nothing but Micheal Che and Colin Jost 🙏 I literally fast forward through the entire episode til I get to there skits 😁 5 stars for this duo alone!!!
