About as good an adaptation as 2hrs 35 mins could deliver. Superb casting, performances, direction, visuals, music (not Zimmer's best score but serves the movie wonderfully). Very glad to have seen it on IMAX. As a long time book fan, I could have happily enjoyed a less stringently edited version & hope to see the cut scenes on the blu-ray.
