Okay to start, this is NOT a Jordan Peele movie. Itโs a Justin Tipping movie. Directing and producing are two different things. Also, do not watch this movie if you have epilepsy, Iโm not sure why there is no warning for that (coming from someone who is not epileptic).
SPOILERS AHEAD
Anyway, the movie wasโฆokay. It is definitely not a horror movie, more of a psychological thriller that didnโt really bend the mind like I expected or wanted. Not hard to understand the symbolism and metaphors, but the ending just didn't make sense. The message of the movie was very on the nose but โplot twistโ at the end was a good example of a full circle moment. I just don't understand why the protagonist went through all of that just to say no to signing the contract. If anything, it would have made sense for him to say yes, to justify the message that people will do literally ANYTHING for stardom, money, and power. Maybe thatโs a bit too on the nose as well but I would have been satisfied with that. Also, the demonic entity at the end; where did it come from since it wasnโt even alluded to in the movie? Was the protag possessed or was the blood given to him and Isaiah White (Marlonโs character) from the demon?
The โscariestโ thing was the cult leaders sons, I was truly disturbed by the football heads/masks.
