Mind Yo Business

Okay to start, this is NOT a Jordan Peele movie. It’s a Justin Tipping movie. Directing and producing are two different things. Also, do not watch this movie if you have epilepsy, I’m not sure why there is no warning for that (coming from someone who is not epileptic). SPOILERS AHEAD Anyway, the movie was…okay. It is definitely not a horror movie, more of a psychological thriller that didn’t really bend the mind like I expected or wanted. Not hard to understand the symbolism and metaphors, but the ending just didn't make sense. The message of the movie was very on the nose but “plot twist” at the end was a good example of a full circle moment. I just don't understand why the protagonist went through all of that just to say no to signing the contract. If anything, it would have made sense for him to say yes, to justify the message that people will do literally ANYTHING for stardom, money, and power. Maybe that’s a bit too on the nose as well but I would have been satisfied with that. Also, the demonic entity at the end; where did it come from since it wasn’t even alluded to in the movie? Was the protag possessed or was the blood given to him and Isaiah White (Marlon’s character) from the demon? The “scariest” thing was the cult leaders sons, I was truly disturbed by the football heads/masks.

I don't know why it took me so long to watch this movie but I'm glad I did. I've watched it twice now, and I have cried every single time. This is a movie I could relate to on all aspects, every message delivered I could see myself in. I have never had a movie be so down to earth and personable. I love the character growth of the main character, how she becomes to realize that although she may have better lives in her alternate universes, she found the joy(no pun intended) in the life she currently lived. Waymond's character was outstanding, and I am a bit biased because he reminded me of my boyfriend. This movie was just great, the story was consistent and flowed perfectly, it had the right amount of humor and action, it was just perfect. I would love to see another movie from the directors, seriously. Watch it if you can, please.

First of all, all the reviews saying that Judge Correrio is bad; needs to SHUT UP. He’s the most logically person on the bench and makes rulings in fairness! Judge ACKER is the worst! She barely takes into consideration the issues that both parties present and her rulings make absolutely NO SENSE. I watched an episode where a man wanted his cat back after his friend gave it away to a lady, without his knowledge, and Judge Acker said that because the lady took care of the cat that he shouldn’t get it back. What sense does that make? It was his cat he gave to a friend, and had no idea that his friend would give the cat away to some stranger. He also offered to pay her for taking care of the cat. Judge ACKER IS TERRIBLE. Judge Dimango is okay, sometimes she sides with what’s right and sometimes she doesn’t. Get rid of Judge Acker and maybe the show will be good.

The protagonist was dumb as a box of rocks in this movie, she did unnecessary things that made the movie frustrating to watch.
