I didn't enjoy the movie at all but the delightful, colorful decorations and backgrounds. Marie was 14 when she married Louis but the actress looked much older. (well, of course she was 23 when filmed)And I'd say her act was so poor...her face didn't really show diverse emotions of the character at all. Historically critical events, the diamond necklace fraud for example, were not covered. The romance between the Swedish soldier isn't really impactful in the movie even though it was quite serious in the real history, as far as I know. The plot flows so fast that I felt the movie was edited a lot. I really don't understand what the movie wants to tell.
