best movie of the decade. artistically beautiful and with such a profound story. hated the cliffhanger

It was a drag. I’ve never seen the other Fantastic Beasts movies, but I assumed my HP knowledge would help. I was completely wrong. There’s so much trivia, too many characters, and unnecessary plot points to even understand it. Two and a half hours of waiting for something to happen and it doesn’t. Completely missing important info because they whizz by it so quickly. CGI was great, not much else, really.

Bad acting, weak storyline, little sense, not the worst but nowhere near the best.

I definitely enjoyed this movie. The acting is great and the characters have clear personalities. You can see how Estella slowly goes sort of insane and transitions into Cruella. The fashion, a major part of Cruella, is amazing. The color schemes are great. The plot twist was shocking. However, the ending was underwhelming in my opinion. Overall, great movie.

The Emoji Movie fails spectacularly. It has awful jokes, weird product placement, a formulaic plot, and a bad conflict. However, it's so fun to criticize while you watch it that I couldn't give it 1 star. It's a bad movie, but it's a joy to rip apart.

SPOILERS AHEAD Please, please, please watch this movie. It's so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Not everything is solved. Ladybird doesn't magically completely resolve her rocky relationship with her mother, in fact, her mother was so stubborn that she didn't bid Ladybird goodbye when she dropped her off at the airport to fly to New York for college. But after thinking for a while, she starts sobbing and runs to the airport, only for Ladybird to be gone already. Their financial problems also drive conflicts between the tough love family, with the mother having her own conflicts and problems and hopes. Every character feels so real. The friendships, relationships, family problems, being a teenager. When Ladybird arrived in New York, she introduces herself to a stranger with her real name- Christina. It shows how she's starting fresh. I sobbed so much during this movie, my eyes ached for an hour. It's a work of art.

I loved the music so much. Make A Man Out Of You and Honor to Us All are amazing. The characters are so fun to watch. Li Shang and Mulan have great chemistry! I definitely recommend.

It's awful. Li Shang, Mushu, Mulan's eccentric friends? Gone. The iconic music? Gone. The editing? Horrible. Enough said. Do not watch this.
