Adriano Cimarosti writes a concise review of the past 105 years ofG.P. Motor Racing. His reportage of the 1960 Scarab was correct regarding it's withdrawal from the Belgian G.P. de to engine trouble. According to Henry Manney, the trouble was caused by someone flooring the accelerator until the engine expired.
