I had some high expectations because of all the love the show was getting, but I was a little disappointed because the actress that played Julie (Madison Reyes) isn’t the best in terms of acting skills and that kinda ruined the whole show for me seeing as though she’s the main character. She’s not the only one though, a few scenes were a bit hard to watch. It also gives off some pretty strong Jem and the holograms vibes. But I really don’t expect much from Netflix originals anymore. Either way it’s a kids show so you can’t expect the best anyway. Plots good, the acting is really my only complaint.
