This movie is not for people who needed more of the Propaganda. We've got enough of it in the country in the form of our respected government. But that's a different story, so let's not go down that road.
Personally, I feel like we live in a country where people would ignore the art, love, music, poetry(basically all the things that make us human) and run after things that give them a sense of religious/cultural/regional superiority.
The movie is purely a piece of fiction. It might have derived its roots from the true story of Kashmir. But we need to address the fact that this is a love story and not some movie overfeeding Propaganda.
I'm not a huge fan of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, but he nailed it. I agree that it was not what was promised but it was a beautiful love story and that's how this movie should be seen and nothing else.
