before I start, I just need to say I really wanted to enjoy this game. Now I am not going to get into the leaks, as they are irrelevant in my opinion of the game, and I am not going to compare it to former titles in the series, but I am going to compare it as a Roleplaying game, and as a collection sort of game, so games like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and Digimon are all being taken into account here.
